The *Kingfisher Club* is situated in the Benal Beach complex in Benalmadena Costa on the Spanish Costa del Sol. Only 20 minutes by car or train from Malaga airport, it is strategically placed with direct access to the beach just across the road and within easy walking distance of the villages of Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmadena with its lively Port. Malaga capital, luxurious Marbella and rustic Mijas are only some of the many places easily reached by car, bus or train - all of which combines to offer a great variety of entertainment, shopping or simple relaxation. The resort staff can provide information and make reservations for the daily guided excursions to nearby places of interest such as Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Gibraltar and Tangiers, as well as organising hire cars, golf, horse-riding, sea-fishing, and scuba-diving.

Kingfisher guests have the right to use the many facilities within the Benal Beach complex, such as the numerous swimming pools with slides, pool bar, cafeteria, pub and games room, and the private gardens surrounding the building provide excellent areas for sunbathing. There are also various shops and services that include a supermarket, newsagents, souvenir shops, hair and beauty salon, safety deposit boxes and a laundry. Another benefit is the Atenas fitness centre with a fully equipped gymnasium, sauna, jacuzzi and heated pool - ideal for the less sunny days, but being privately owned this facility must be paid for as you go along, with a 10% to 20 % discount to Kingfisher guests.
